It was a lot of fun. I hope your kids enjoy making their own snowflake crafts. I agree, a sharpener would work better. We made these when we were out of town over the holidays, so we used what we could find. The plastic knife worked surprisingly well. Glad you liked the snow books!

I'm sure my kids will enjoy it. When we shave crayons we usually use a cheap plastic sharpener I got at Oriental Trading Company. For some reason it works better than anything else we ever tried. I like your selection of snow books (linked in this post). So many fun titles!
